John Day 2

Wow!

Day started off with lots of holes. They have not had a major storm here in awhile so there is lots of little wood chips washed up on to shore. I went out to help Eric and Alfonso dig 100s of holes in the sand and then buried the wood chips so the beach looks smooth and clean.

Alison then joined me on a swim in the ocean. It was a little cold but very refreshing. Paco was working on a boat so Anson joined me and we swam out to it.

Made salsa and had lunch with Alison.

Griffin and I then hiked to launch. I flew down solo. See Video Here.

I grabbed my tandem wing and hiked up again. I launched and Griffin flew the rest of the way into the ocean. I was telling him when to turn so it was totally my fault. we spent then next hour washing the wing in the lagoon. Will need to spend time tomorrow drying it out.

Off to Dinner at Cerritos. Tuna ceviche and calamari  were good.

Home now Blogs done. Time for some TV time
