Alison Day 1

Saturday-Travel Day
We were very lucky to even get to leave on time. Denver was shut down on Thursday night and Friday morning due to snow storms. Alas none hit the high country where we really need it. Left the house around 8'ish and had an easy drive down to DIA. Checked 13 bags which made the attendant laugh, we cause lots of laughter from Americans and Mexicans at the amount of luggage we have. Most of it is toys, what's the point of playing in Mexico for 2 months without the toys? Great flight, front row seats, free TV and really sweet flight attendants. What more can you ask for? Needless to say customs wanted to search us and when I asked which bag she smirked at me and said ALL of Them!!! 2 bags later and she said never mind go ahead. Hugo met us with his big van and off to Walmart we went. Stocked up on the essentials and then drove the very crooked and construction riddled road to Boca. Little town with a great dock and loaded into Luis's new boat and off under the full moon we rode. All the bags actually made for a smooth ride and about 20 minutes later we saw the lights of Yelapa. David Lord came to the pier to meet us. So nice to see old friends. We had to get off at the town pier because the water was too rough to drop at the beach. OOPS wasn't expecting that commute with now 17 bags and 4 buckets of groceries!  Erik and Lake showed up with his ATV and Trailer and 2 trips later we were unloaded is Casa Mosaico. By 11'ish we were unpacked and moved in. Yeah for John reminding me to buy hangers at walmart, used every one of them. The unit was more beautiful and spacious then I remembered a year ago. Had some great time with John and then an incredible nights sleep. So thrilled and grateful to get to spend 2 months with my boys in Yelapa!
